Title: help with animated mask
Post by: kleinm on January 09, 2009, 10:09:43 AM
im trying to import a image sequence (filename0000.ext) but only the first picture loads.....
do i have to rename the sequence? i did try to follow matts suggestion under http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=3825.msg40331#msg40331  but
kept error messages that the renamed files where not found (recongnized?) but this
method seems obsolet since version 1.10.23.1,
im working with TG 2 deep & animation edition (1.10.23.1)

probably something i messed up but dont know how to fix...
thanks for  reading ( and hopefully helping out)

sorry for bothering - i got the problem solved...
it was a missing dot (.) before the (.%04)....

i just loaded the first image of the sequence (cloud_anim0000,tif)
to the image map shader and renamed it (cloud_anim0000.%04.tif)
and everything works fine!

I didn't know this could be done, very good news indeed, wonder if the same could work for sequances of models. Just think Poser animations inside TG .... hehe

I don't think model sequences work yet, but it's definitely a good thing to support for rudimentary model animation.
