Here's where Balloon Ride ended up. I think I'm tired of this scene so time to move on to something else. Thanks for looking!
THIS is one of the most photorealistic renders I have ever seen made with TG2.
EXCELLENT! And that's well deserved!!!

Frank
I would agree if the scene had a little more warmth. maybe some postwork to increase the red hue and contrast a little bit. To me it has that greenscreen kind of look.
very good render !
nice castle and very well placed and incorporated
Wow Jay, this looks just awesome! The clouds and their lighting are awesome and the depth is built up very well. Cool castle and well positioned. The only thing you might consider changing is adding another tree-species for variation, though it isn't really necessary as it is beautiful already. Fantastic work!
Hugz and kisses and five stars from me ;) lol
Martin
great lighting
Fantastic render. I like this version better.

This lighting is great. Image is very well done.
Can I safely assume these are TG2 clouds? If so, you've done an excellent job lighting them.
Very nice job :).
I'd agree that the lighting is just great, especially on the clouds. Any chance you might share your atmosphere/lighting clip files??
The clouds and lighting are much improved and look photo-realistic now. The castle also fits into the scene very well.
Incredible clouds!
Stunning work!
gobsmacked!!!...Awesome job Jay!!!
Give us some of your image specs, please. I'm interested in the tree objects and what it took to make the clouds and terrain. Great castle model, too. Where did you get the castle?

Thanks to all, especially Martin for the Huggs and Kisses. ;) @ calico as I said in my first image "Balloon Ride" http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=5607.0 (http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=5607.0) are the objects used and I started with frankb's cumulus clouds that I purchased from His site. I don't think I can share those, however you can purchase them too. The terrain is a generated fractal terrain in TG, nothing special. I matched the atmo blue color close to the scattering color in the cumulus colors.
That's useful information Jay. And you're welcome of course by the way ;)
Calico: fake ambient colors in the cloudnode can also do quite some magic if you have troubles matching haze with scattercolors or when you have problems with lighting shadowy areas.
Outstanding render Jay
Good news about Frank's clouds, as I bought them too :). Did you do any specific tweaking to them?
Hi Jay,
That is a really nice render.
Regards,
Jo
Clouds are excellent. A very realistic render. All the details count like the ground on the bottom right.
That is an excellent render. One would almost want to ask where the photo was taken!
Excellent work. I particularly like the lighting on the trees, as well as the clouds of course.
