Title: Cloud Tests
Post by: dandelO on February 07, 2009, 08:37:04 PM
I haven't animated anything decent since TG 0.9(except a few 2d .gifs and a dabble in Carrara) so I started mucking around with clouds and eclipses. No eclipse shots just yet but here's my first cloud tests. Very rough and very small, I'm just posting for the hell of it, a real project will follow...

Stitched these together in Jasc Animation Shop. Just testing, I'm going to get busy on my explosion object from my public library pack, from nothing to !!BOOM!! in about 4 seconds I think will be my target, nothing too strenuous to begin with...

Excelent, how have you done this, using a transform shader or something more esoteric?

Cheers folks. Actually, the only values I've changed from frame to frame is the cloud warp factor. I made a new cloud layer, left it at default values(save for a few random seeds to get a half decent shape to start on). Then I lowered the warp values to '0' and increased them by: 0.1 for the cirrus and 0.05 for the cumulus in each frame.
