Here's one I've been working on for a while now. This is actually a close up view so there's not much to give a sense of scale to it. The intention though was to make ice or icy rocks and as such is a WIP really. I have a couple of others going from different POVs and might post if good enough.
C&C welcome.
I Like it a lot and would like to see the other POVs.
Although to me it looks rather like the motherlode of labradorite than like Ice.

As I said, It is beautiful, but no Ice yet (for my eye), maybe it´s to dark in the depth, maybe it looks to broken instead of at last partly molten.
I tried to achieve an ice-effect before there was transparency and a lambert-shader helped a lot.

Yours is more realistic in many ways, but maybe there is something in mine that can help you.
When I tried to reproduce that same Image with a transparent watershader it turned black in many places (decay distance?)
Maybe thats what makes your ice so dark, I don´t know.
I´d say, even if you get closer to Ice, keep this version, make it a little more colourful and give us the first all-labradorite Mountain ever!
Best Regards,
Jan
It looks more like metallic rock but I like that.
