Title: Useful Objects
Post by: rcallicotte on February 24, 2009, 07:38:43 AM
These look like useful objects for TG2 - http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=70101&vendor=rodluc2001

Not bad, but stuff like this would be way more useful if we had some sort of way to limit population random rotation (stepping maybe, randomly rotate objects in increments of 90deg) and a grid align method so strets etc could be made.

The blocks look quite good; not sure if I would use something like that but...

How many times has either of these been asked for now?

Stepped rotation and or array populator would have plenty of uses.

Avenues of trees, fields of crops, orchards, vineyards etc.

I did develop a partial solution for aligning objects to a grid last year but this is far from perfect.

Stepped rotation could be achieved by using four populations of rotated blocks
