Title: Snake river basin WIP
Post by: arisdemos on February 24, 2009, 11:46:31 PM
This is a postwork enhanced image coming from my first render with tg2 Deep, and there is still a long wayto go befor it is finished. the terrain is created from a combined top and bottom element of fractal and displaced layers. I will be putting in a procedural foreground under the grass as soon as I can figure out how to insert it in the node complex, and the manzanita bushes need better texture work. Thanks for viewing and C&C welcome.

It was overlit or was overbleached in some program like Photoshop.  Otherwise, it looks like it has promise from this POV.

well I dunno, I think if the reddish bark on the trees had a bit more texture this could look like a very realistic 19th to early 20th century photograph.
