Title: TG2 Xfrog plants - Africa?
Post by: reck on April 03, 2009, 04:08:34 PM
So these plants are in the tgo format ready to be used?

Not noticed these before anyone got any renders with any of these plants in?

What?  Where did you get that?

I found that too the day before yesterday....the link is not correct though.
It links to the African bundle. This bundle has another box-cover as well, so it's obviously a mistake.
If I'm correct you can't find this image and link anymore, because they updated the site yesterday.

These are just xFrog products - nothing TG2 specific.  But, these could still be made to work in TG2.

Yes you're right...I missed that one. Hmmm...wondering when :)

@ Calico: yes of course you can make them to work, we all know that already :) the fun thing is that we will get tgo's directly from Greenworks :)

Not wishing to get my petrol bucket confused with my water bucket but I do wonder if they will be using any of Lightning's enhancements?

I clicked on that EN under the image and I got this (http://xfrog.safe-ssl.net/PDF/Africa_XfrogPlants_EN.PDF) PDF.
I don't know if these are what Xfrog where talking about of course, but we can hope :)

That's a great set. Some trees don't look very realistic, but TG's renderer could fix that.
I really like a lot of those, specially the bushes and very young variants.

What's the price of this thing?

I think the EN pdf is a messup.. looks like whoever added the TG2 plants just copied the EN link from below it (see: Africa)

Also the little box screenshot seems to show all sorts of trees, not just africa.

So xfrog jumped the gun on the T2 release announcement,  and now has a mislabeled link to the T2 plants?  I don't get it?

I didn't find a phone number yet. The postal code is wrong. It must be 5 digits - could be 10435
