thats because I WAS using your work as inspiration. This image was trying to emulate the
'Imagine if' scene.

By the way, wetbanana, is your work mainly done through T2 or do you cut and paste from many different sources?

This is good on lighting and colors. I like the POV. What I think is too much is the amount of displacement - too strong.

Yes, I have to say I agree in hindsight Calico - I over-sharpened the image in PS.
Trick: lasso the water and sharpen just your selected area. Then the rocks will remain smooth, and the water will jump out at you.
Might be worth trying. Let us see it, if you do this or any other improvements.

Haven't seen much stuff from the Calico production line recently which is a shame....
hey my planets and sky etc are usually composed in phoyoshop the rest is usualy done in terragen then tweeked in photoshop im glad you are inspired by my work!
