Hi.
I like the night scene and I have been wanting to make the scene
for years.
I think that Terragen2 is one of the best way to make the night view.
This is my night scene project. It may be some work needed.
Excelent work.

Wow Great scene foreground is a bit dark but very nicely done
Curious as to how the terrain was created ??? Looks like Crater Lake ter (IMO)
How much is TG2 and how much is post-worked? The buildings look post-worked.
Thank you for the comments.
chefc, right! I use crater shader.
calico, this is only TG2, no post-work.The buildings are population objects, imported as obj file. :)
This makes sense then why it looks like the buildings are sort of standing on their own. In the real world, traffic and lampposts and streets and trees (etc.) would fill in the blank spaces. Keep going!

Really....wow cool man :) The buildings are very nice!
I like this scene. All elements work well together and I like the lighting quite much.
I have only one minor crit. The wave-scale of the water is a bit too big. I think the scales would work better if you'd reduce the wavescale a bit,...say by a third for starters.
Great work anyway!

Thank you for the comments. :)
I added trees etc. and lightsorces to fill in the spaces and added surface layer to integrate buildings with ground.
I reduced the wave scale a little.
Much better. Now, what would be very cool would be a flyover. :D
That's very impressive, and reducing the wave scale brings the reflections of the illuminated buildings more into view. Excellent work.

Very good concept! ;)
By turning on "raytraced shadows" you shouldn't get the sun shining through the terrain anymore - but I'm not sure if this is the case in your render. I can't see it quite well. :-[
