Title: Bending blades in grass clump
Post by: PorcupineFloyd on April 25, 2009, 05:46:12 AM
I'd like to request a parameter in grass clump object to set bending of blades. I've found that internal grass clump object looks very good if tweaked (clump size, number of blades, diameter), coloured and distributed with variations. However, it is still very hard to achieve a good looking, large, bent grass with it.

That would be a nice addition. I'm not sure what future plans are for the built-in objects like grass, but I'd like to see them become more versatile.

it would be nice if this feature could be used on external models too, if you have grass that was modeled to straight, you'd need vary fine control over the placement of the bend point maybe some kind of brush that when placed over the model it would conform to the models shape. Just an idea!

Regards to you.

TG2 is unlikely to ever have model *editing* functionality.
