I did a search over the board and I'm not sure this argument has been discussed before, so I would like to ask :
Will future development include blurred/area shadows for rendering? I guess soft shadows can be a necessary and quality-increasing feature for the TG2 render engine.

hmm I have'nt come across a thread about it yet (I think) I would imagine it would be added into a future version and if not in the intial release then maybe in the 2.x versions.

As Will said, it might be interesting to know if this feature is planned already for the 2.0 release or further 2.x upgrades

We do hope to add some form of soft shadow functions to the final TG2 release. It's not yet clear how comprehensive or customizable this functionality would be.
