Hi all,
I'm delighted to announce the availability of Seth's Big Fat Atmo Pack at NWDA: http://nwda.webnode.com/products/big-fat-atmo-pack-by-seth/
Seth has made a tremendous effort in creating these great skies that give you this unique "after the rain" look which you all know from his renders. Whether dark and fierce, or bright and friendly, the pack allows you to do both out of the box.
Here's an example (http://nwda.webnode.com/album/seth-gallery/#after-the-rain-jpg)
and another one (http://nwda.webnode.com/images/200001393-5048551422-public/glamorous_sky.jpg)
And a few other ones on the product page (http://nwda.webnode.com/products/big-fat-atmo-pack-by-seth/).
We believe that these skies provide a great "Awesomeness/Euro" value ;D, but Seth and also TU have decided to make their first packs available at a slightly lower price point for a few weeks, in an attempt to promote the quality of their packs.
Thanks for having a look.
Best Regards,
Frank
Looks very well. I'm interested in most of that packs, but i don't like the Paypal-System. Are the products available on another platform where i can buy them with credit card?
It's always good to be careful with your online moneytransfer and personal information, but regarding PayPal I just have to tell you one thing: there must be a very good reason why they are so well known and much-used all over the world ;)

thank you - unfortunately we cannot offer any other online payment method that is suitable for micro payments like these. However, I still encourage you to try PayPal in this particular case. I will personally vouch for that you get what you payed for, if the payment arrives on the account.
best regards,
Frank
PayPal is a very good way to do online purchases, its the way I prefer to do them myself. I don't trust my credit card info and such being put into any random site. PayPal adds some extra security to both buyer and seller.
before I had a credit card, I was just about to take Paypal, but i've found too much forums with negative post - a lot of people lost mucht money, locked accounts by paypal, contact only with phone(maximum a P.O. Box), no real adress nearby to me to force the law....No i don't transfer any money with this service.
To minimize the risk I look at the company before i'm giving my credit card data - and it's a limited prepaid one.
The risks with PayPal are primarily for the merchant, not the buyer.
For instance: once you buy something digital online you're being redirected to the product inmediately. The merchant (NWDA) has to receive the money from PayPal and that's where most of the horror stories come from.
May well be, but But in comparison to a "right bank" such practices are not good, and therefore it makes no difference to me whether I am a buyer or seller.
Purchasing on paypal is quite secure, and doesn't have to be linked to a bank account. if you want you can just tie it to a credit card, so its basically just like using your credit card on the web page, only then the merchant cant start making false charges as paypal won't allow it.
However, yes the merchant does get a little loss from paypal in the sense that money sometimes will get stolen by them when stolen accounts and money gets used to buy something from the merchant, paypal takes the money back from the merchant.
I don't deny that the technical transactions are safe. But there is just this bitter taste how they are handle that things.
If I had nothing special to do i spent reading posts in forums with Paypal, about one week.
My hair stood on the mountains.
Just because I'm a buyer and not a merchant I should have more confident in that System?
Remember that PayPal is now owned by eBay and that they have a huge stake in making sure that there is confidence in the system. I have been using PayPal both as a buyer and seller on eBay for a good few years now and have had no problems at all. I can definitely confirm that the merchant takes the risks. Historically there were problems with the system but these have been eliminated now, at least as far as eBay transactions are concerned, I have not used he service as a stand alone merchant.
Paypal works through the Federal Reserve system...so, it's probably pretty secure. Nevertheless, if you have good reason to not use it, don't.
I want this pack if for no other reason than to learn Seth's (Frank's) lighting secrets. He is a talented TG2 atmosphere technician.
Congrats on the new release! But where is the large version of *this* image: http://files.nwda.webnode.com/200001353-73e2974dc3/web_full2.jpg

It's in the pack :D
So here it is....
Nice! Dig the lighting and rays. A bit over-compressed though. ;)

yeah, I like those, too. A lot. The images made from Seth BFA pack are very moody. And yes, the images is probably a tad too jpeg-compressed.
Frank

but i just wanted to show what kind of thing can be done with the pack ;)
