Title: Tee-ropical
Post by: EoinArmstrong on May 09, 2009, 10:51:24 AM
Working on displacements in water.

The pic's a little flat-looking - the lighting is pretty much default, though - any tips?

Originally rendered at 1024x768 and cropped.  I tried rendering it higher, but T2 fell over :(

It may look a little flat because of the positioning of the sun: behind your right shoulder. Maybe increasing the strength and height of the haze will also give the scene more depth.

did you try a low altitude sun (not too low but 15 or even 12) ? with an orientation like not in front but 45° to the left of the center of the image ?

It is average; you accustomed us to better images!

Lighting might help this one, but it seems too far away...
