Title: Church in the Hills
Post by: RArcher on May 09, 2009, 01:33:15 PM
Nothing special going on in this one, was just messing around with the Church that Richard modeled, and the new trees shared by Walli.  I was at a model train show a couple weeks back and wanted to try and do a picture where it looked like everything was miniature in scale.

Picture too large to upload here without too much compression so you can see it here.  Make sure to click on it for the full image.

Thanks for taking a look!

This is crazy. I first looked at the picture before I read your comment and thought that compared to your other pictures this is weak: the church looks like a paper model and the DOF is making it look like a miniature.
Then I read your comment and realized that this is exactly what you wanted to achieve. Great!! ;D

Technically great image, and I love the concept, but looking at this, the area of interest for the viewer is the church, so I think the DOF mask should be crunched to take out some more of the foreground, at the moment my eye is being forced into the centre.
