Post by: choronr on May 16, 2009, 12:46:57 AM
Just some tests to check out plant distribution and scale ...more work to be done here. Rendered with a pre 2.0.3.1 version. Will have the latest version installed tomorrow.

The ground is successful as well as water, on the other hand I hang less on the vegetation and sadistibution (question of taste nobody undoubtedly!)

Looks good for lighting and the terrain is very good.  Vegetation works for this terrain and is lit well.

Impressive rock formation. Good sense of proportions.

A take off on my previous image. Changed lighting; added clouds; and, reduced size of the dry grasses. I still prefer the lighting on the first image.

I love the lighting and the clouds.  Why does it look more grainy?  What is your atmosphere quality?

Sometimes less is more - I actually preferred your original :)

Great terrain and natural-looking lighting!

I like both images... but I love the area in the 2nd one where the clouds touch the mountain ;)
