Hi everyone, this is my first thread here on planetside forums
After two days of playing arround with TG2 i managed to create a pic wich i am very proud of, hehe. Its not even close to all the awsome pics here on the forum but as my first "serious" one i kind of like it. Since im a noob i didnt save the settings so i cant give you details about the pic.
This is certainly a very nice start into TG2. Well done.
It's very tempting to make a "camera above clouds" render, isn't it ;D
I'm saying that because most beginners have chosen this for their first scene in the past. There is nothing wrong with that, though. Looking forward for more from you.

hehe yeah the "camera over clouds" render make you feel like you are a pro:P hahaha. Terragen 2 is the greatest "landscape" program i have ever used, but its a bit hard to learn if you compare with the first one.

Very nice, Viktim. You'll find just going through the basic tutorial by Oshyan and then learning one of the fellow resident's tutorial about terrain (Volker's terrain tutorial, nvseal's Planet tutorial, TU's canyon / wall tutorial) will give you plenty to experiment around and in short order you'll find you can learn to do some very cool things on your own.
