Hi so you may have seen this version with altered lighting through photoshop.

Well I have dont some more photoshopping and I thought I would share my result. I have added alot such as the clouds and I feel the image is very powerfull and bold, even more then the original :P. Im not going for realistic in this peice its more focused on the artistic side. So here it is :)

hmm... no. ;D
The cloud plane does not look like it it would follow the planet curvature - not adjacent to the surface. In other words, it does not look like it's 3D.
Everything else I cannot comment. When you move into the progressive or abstract artistic space, anything - real or unreal - escapes all possible critics. ;D
Cheers,
Frank
Lol yh I did notice the clouds didnt look right in the sky, almost like its a wall of clouds outside the planets atmosphere but I was to busy trying to make it look cool instead of making it look correct. Also I find abstract art is best critiqued on a personal/emotional level, it just means there no right or wrong. I would also say the reflection of the sun would be more evident on the water but I can always do that another time. :P
I almost could say without any doubts that I like the original better. Something simpler and unique in the lighting all by itself, though the purple is a little knee-jerk.
