Title: TG2 Animation
Post by: digidon on May 19, 2009, 11:43:26 PM
I wanted to see if I could put together the basic elements of a movie.  Things which I wanted to include were a plant, animated flyover of TG2 terrain, Maya temple model, animated/speaking Poser figure, musical soundtrack and title effects.  This is a sample movie clip created out of impatience....Spielberg will be able to keep his day job.

Need more quality on the ground and it wasn't smooth enough.  I'd say keep trying, but I'm not sure what you're doing.

Basicly I was getting a feel for quality versus file size.  This clip was 54 seconds long for a 9 meg flash file.  There were 280 images, most at .14 seconds, some were a few seconds long.  Getting smooth motion will take more rendered images.  More quality and detail in the terrain translates into longer render times multiplied by the increase numbers of images.  I guess that's what it will take.....keep trying.  Thanks!
