Hi,

As if the first pack wasn't good enough, yikes!
Wow. That second grass (#3, actually) looks amazing.
Man, and I just bought pack 1. Don't tempt me now, need to save money for the TG license.
I get paid soon, now that I am back at work, so I'll nab 2 and 3 sometime next week.
These are just what the doctor ordered.... and they sure are sweet. Thanks Walli and NWDA. :)
:o
amazing work walli! definitely will have to scrounge up the cash.
That's some nice looking grass there Walli! Well done.
I'd like to as you something here Frank, and I'm not trying to stir the pot!
I like your whole little franchise you've got going here but shouldn't these type threads be in the file sharing area? I notice more and more of your business venture popping up here and it may tend to get distracting, down the road, if more and more people start doing it. I could count off a bunch of people, myself included, that distribute, but we don't advertise here. Maybe the thought of "file sharing" seems like the wrong place to, because it's not free? If that's the case maybe Planetside might think about changing the name of the group to "Resource Center" or something like that.
Like I said, not trying to stir, just to cause ruckus...
May eventually need to split up file sharing into "free" and "not free" or at least clearly mark a post that deals with stuff that is not free to users.
Good idea.

At the moment... undecided
Well it sets a precedent I don't much care for.
Not that anyone really cares but it doesn't matter to me where it's posted just as long as it's posted somewhere here.
Besides, what are you doing stirring the pot? That's my job. ;) LOL
you are the stirra buzzz lol!
nice Grass wally but I don't think the name needs to be changed or not to be changed to something as boring as terragen recource lol
I mean look at vues recource center cournucopia3d!!! now thats different but i think NWDA is at a point where it needs to start stepping things up as in a real domain name and A proper webstore
such as this
http://www.cornucopia3d.com/purchase.php?item_id=2317
(http://www.cornucopia3d.com/purchase.php?item_id=2317)
and maybe a forum? im sure their will be able people round here that could help you with this?
also why not contact some of the great modelers of daz3d and corucopia3d and get them to port some of their models over to your store in tgo format?
The reason I like this idea is that it separates a sort of a "store" versus just coming here and learning stuff. SetupTab.com does it that way and it works. I'm pretty sure this is a standard way to keep the shop from the talk.
I could make a sticky post here.... That could actually be useful.
Oshyan?

Frank
I think ithere are many Cornucopia, Renderosity, Turbosquids and whatever out there. In my opinion it wouldn´t hurt if NWDA stays different from them.
yeah but once their are over say 50 products its going to get very un organised
No, I can organize that easily. It's just not required yet.
For now, I have split into presets and objects, but as it grows - if it grows - I can look into either introducing sub categories or look for another solution. I will make that dependend on the future development of things.
Regards,
Frank
cool you will need to add some sort of search engine though
A sticky thread for new product announcements sounds good. I also support the idea of having a forum on your site for discussion of your presets. The announcement thread here could be a sticky and also locked (announcement only), with a link to a forum thread on your end for discussion. Let me know what you need and we'll sort something out.

I just want to add, I just bought that Xfrog Plant Bundle, and it has NO GRASS!! Not expecting that...
So Thanks very much for this Wally!!
actually I have to look at the Terragen+Xfrogplants release DVD. But normally there should be Groundcover on it and this library contains two grass species as far as I can remember.
Well, this page lists the contents of the ground cover pack: http://www.xfrogdownloads.com/greenwebNew/products/libGround.htm
There might be grasses in there, but no clumps, so that would mean incredibly large populations.
yes, you are right, its no clumps but single species
First, Walli's plants are really good.
Second, I think a separate area for 3rd party add ons to post would be a great idea. We all look for more/better objects to use. It would be easier to find them.
