What do you think ?
Is this metallic looking ?
Is it looking better ? :)
Indeed it does, and it's verging on being downright creepy. Good stuff!

Agree. Especially the thing to the very right looks a bit like a skull :o
Love it, could be a work by H.R. Giger ;)
Geez. This rocks. :P
Really good, Seth.
Oh yes! Great.
I noticed the skull thing too.
to me it looks metallic (surface) & Volcanic (displacements/terrain).
Hmm I don't know why but for me it looks rather like something plastic / organic. But maybe it's because of organic shapes. It's really sweet :)
Btw. how did you make those displacements? Perlin billows?
Wow! Creepy ;D And it looks sooo metallic :P Didn't you do the same landscape some time ago with more alienslime-like surface? ;)
Yes, looking like some melted ore on an alien world. :)
Hi,
nice one!
Have you tried playing with the specular color already?
Giger would have a field day!
thanks guys !
I love the old Giger art ^^
the bubble displacement is more a buggy displacement than the result of the billow flavour ;)
@j meyer : the specular colour is still white :)
C'est différent mais j'aime bien ces nouvelles images t'es dans une voie différente à explorer ! Continues comme ça !
It is different but I like these new images are to you in a different way to explore! Continuous like that!
Giger was my first thought also...super weird and cool!
Then, please write these settings down somewhere so you don't forget. Too cool to lose!

So maybe you should give it a try then. ;)
oh ! i already gave it a try :)
but not in this render ^^
Amazing... looks like some sort of pyrite formation.
Simon.
