Agree. Especially the thing to the very right looks a bit like a skull :o

I noticed the skull thing too. 

to me it looks metallic (surface) & Volcanic (displacements/terrain).

Hmm I don't know why but for me it looks rather like something plastic / organic. But maybe it's because of organic shapes. It's really sweet :)

Btw. how did you make those displacements? Perlin billows?

the bubble displacement is more a buggy displacement than the result of the billow flavour ;)
@j meyer : the specular colour is still white :)
