Just a quick question about the NWDA pre-sets and a comment.
The question:
Within the pre-sets are they optimized to a specific "random seed" value or can I keep clicking "random seed" to get new varieties of cloud formation, canyon texture etc?
The comment:
As others have said NWDA are producing a lot of work at the moment, taking up a lot of Forum space. Whilst this is in all ways a good thing is it truly best served here on the Planetside forum. Will you guys be planning to add a discussion forum to your webnode site?

While I can't speak for the NWDA crew, who might give you different answers depending on the specific pre-set, what I can say from my experience of working with the Cumulus pack is that the settings are probably optimised for a broad range of uses (but even then, there will be exceptions), while the seed will entirely depend on the kind of scene you are working with - I know that in a scene I'm currently working on, I changed the seed about half a dozen times (but not randomly) to get the effect I was after. And Seth says in one thread that he often changes the seed up to fifty or sixty times (correct me if I'm wrong).
My bet on the clouds is that it is according to specific seeds for the final product we bought.
I can only talk for my pack : the preset is not optmized for a specific seed. hitting the random button can give you very different results but with the same mood.
and as domdib said, I can hit the random seed button up to 60 times to get the specific shape I want (well I never had to with the BFA but... as it is powerfractal, it is possible I'll have to). but it is not specific to the clouds... I mean i am a random seed button fan hitter guys ^^
