Title: Patchy height
Post by: EoinArmstrong on May 28, 2009, 05:14:27 PM
Still playing...

Procedural surfaces (I could have sword there was more colour variation in the rock surface at lower resolutions - weird!)
AO Lighting with non-default background shader with luminosity.

Ooo, coming along here. I really like the grass and groundcover textures, and the way the rock texture blends into it subtly, with small stone-like structures at the border. Trees look pretty good too in terms of overall shading, although from this perspective they seem a bit miniature. Overall it's clear that you're getting the hang of TG2, which is great. :)

The deformations on this hill inspire me. Nicely textured as well.

This is all very nice.  I like how your trees look pretty well distributed - more natural.  I'd recommend using a little reflectivity at the end of your rock structures for that rock sheen.
