Phenomenal art sledge-hammering home some shocking statistics. Twelve and a half million bucks an hour! We humans are a bit off kilter, aren't we.
John
seen this work before...always amazes me!
I'm not an ecology fanatic, but I try to limit buying stuff which is over packaged. I have to admit that I love my soft drink and smoke too many cigarettes (I just finished one). Usually I use a canvas bag to carry my purchases, unless I need some trash bags. I fill a large trash bag with my trash about every three weeks. Hopefully, I will be able to do better in the future. Too bad more of us don't make an effort.
I leave my computer rendering almost everyday and every nights, I smoke, I use plastic bags, I use chemical stuff for cleaning and washing machine, etc...
And to be honest, except the skull done with packs of cigarette, I don't find this art beautiful. :(
he did a lot of work, and I guess he spent an enormous amount of time to do that, but... well it simply doesn't talk to me.
good form though. we need people to think seriously about ecological matters.
That's awesome.
