Hi world!  ;)
I'm trying to export Terragen landscape to Blender, using the script ter2blend...but it doesn't export the texture of terragen..
I have only the mesh..what can I do?? ??? ???
Is there another way to export the landscape with the textures??
Please help me   :'(

Hi..

If I remember correctly, your only option is to render an orthographic top down  render of your terrain, and then use this as a bitmap texture in Blender. But I also seem to remember that that is not the way it works, the export from Terragen to Blender provides a mesh for capturing shadows more than anything else.

Could be wrong though, haven't done it for a few yrs !

Rgds

To render orthographic, go to Camera Settings, check Orthographic, then click the Auto Setup button. Simple as that. You'll want to setup neutral lighting (sun at 90 degrees overhead) and turn all atmospheric settings down to 0 for most accurate color.

By the way, please don't create multiple threads with the same topic/question.

Thanks,
