Title: cloudshader on objects

hey guys
I was wondering is it possible to assign a cloud shader to an object
because i have model of a mushroom cloud that i would like to add a cloud shader to is this possible if so how because i have tried and the model just renders straight black ???

Unfortunately that is not possible currently.

wetbanana - you might look into dandelO's "metaclouds". You would have to rebuild your mushroom cloud, but they would allow you to control exactly where you want the cloud effect to be.
