Title: VERY JUDDERY Animation (link works now)
Post by: cyphyr on June 19, 2009, 01:26:29 PM
Well gang, the stress monkey here.....
Check out the rough animation I uploaded to VIMO (http://vimeo.com/5235958) and another one (http://vimeo.com/5237909)
As you can see the ship movements are VERY juddery. The reason is (I think) because TG2 is truncating the position data in the .chan file but I'm not sure
Solutions and suggestions please or am I once again believing Terragen can do something it was not intended for.
I've tested the anim in Lightwave and the "judder" is not present. The judder must be created during the export process of the motion file, the conversion of the file to .chan or its inport to TG2.
Thanks
Richard

Clearly it's a malfunctioning improbability drive!  ::)

Ok, ok, maybe not. ;) Can you also provide the original CHAN export file for comparison?
