Huhu,
Here is my new terragen pic. Just playing with atmosphere and clouds. Rendertime 6std.
Hope you like it.

I think it looks pretty good. I think that maybe the clouds are too thick, but that's just speculation. I've never been this close to, or seen a picture of a gas giant this closely.

I was also never been on a gas planet, i dont have any idea how its look like. its just playing with terragen :)
very nice scene,,,though some added detail on the distant planet/moon may add interest?
I agree with Inkydigit. The main planet looks great. The star background is stellar. ;D The moon would really take this over the top.

sorry but my english ist not so good. I dont understand what you are meaning. :D Anyone can translate this in German ? :P
When something is referred to as 'stellar', it means 'star like', sort of a play off hollywood stars and critics language when speaking about them. Astronomical.
To be over the top, is like saying 'it's too much'. Like someone wearing a tuxedo to a picnic. It may look good, but it's not appropriate. When I used it earlier, I meant that it would really make it look great. A lesser version of 'it's too much'. A more slang spinoff, like someone saying 'I'm bad.' I really means I look good.
