This was an atmosphere experiment also experimenting in new colours.
I like how the sun turned out this was not post processed it was done in terragen

To me it sounds as if you mean the image is right out of TG2? ??? Or did you add the galaxy?
nope thats photo shop but you could do it through the back ground shader though it wouldn't turn out as good and probably wouldn't glow glow like it does via an overlay brush.
