I tryed to make a picture above the clouds .. it worked but I want that the clouds glowing from the sun. But I dont know how :S
I treyed already sun glow power and sun glow amount, but it didnt work :/
First try with Terragen2 ... dont know much about Terragen, only basics.
That would've been my suggestion too. Hm. Had this problem some time ago. Anyone knows what to do? You look for bright spots like specular highlights, don't you?
For clouds glow, there is a setting (I don't have the program in front of me) to control the amount of sunlight in the cloud. Also, more GI will attribute some strength to your glow, once you figure it out.
there you go. Your problem was the waaayyyy too dark cloud color.

That'll be mostly in the 'atmosphere' node settings.
You can raise the red sky decay, cloud GI colour, or even cloud colour itself, if you want natural cloud, though, leave the cloud colour a shade of grey, the atmo will do the work for you. I have an almost identical cloud to this(although, Frank will always rule the skies around here, ;))... http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=4833.0
It's the atmosphere that provides the overpowering colour. And a low, strong sun, obviously.
You can boost the glow sliders well past their maximum by just keying in a number, aswell. I think I did this here, too.
:)
Starting with the default cloud colours, just increase the density setting to give darker shadows and more defined edges.
there you go, now you've got it directly from TG2 god. ;D
...and surely the Creator knows how his creation works ;)
Yes, it worked, big thx to all :>
Will you share your success with us? :)
