Entirely rendered in Terragen. Thought I'd try and do something different this time. :)

Thanks to Aymenk2003 for the large cactus. Thanks to the internet for the small one, found on Turbosquid.
Roadrunner.tgo was made with a plane object.
Thanks for looking! :) Meep-Meep!
IMAGE EDIT: Forgot to add signature. Uploaded at 9AM, quickly before work. Fixed!
Loosely based on this...
lolz cool!!! it would be cool if you could add Coyote and maybe blur roadrunners legs?
Excellent toon render.
John
nice toon....only minor crit would be to move the cacti so that their shadows are not overlapping....jus' bein' picky though....what about an 'acme road runner trap!!!'
Quality... Roadrunner was my favourite cartoon. ;D

Mine too, very good! ;D ;D ;D I agree about the motion blur and the shadows from the cacti. How did you achieve the cell-shader look?
We had a demo reel for the Amiga computer at the store I used to work at. It was digitized desert scenes with the Road Runner and Coyote doing their thing. It sold about 10 Amiga's for us.
Cheers, folks! :)
I'd commented to Joel(Phyllo) about one of his recent tortured crater renders that 'I can imagine Roadrunner and Wile. E. Coyote running about on top'. I'd been wanting to do TG toons for a while. This is the first...
I don't think I'm finished with this one yet, I've lots of ideas. ;) And the rock pillars still don't seem cartoony enough yet to me.
MacGyver: The cell-shaded look? Well, the only 2D item is the Roadrunner(an image on a plane object).
All the other colouring is just done with fractals and surface layers with bright primary colours instead of muted, natural ones, and silly close-scaled fractals. About 4 or 5 painted shaders describe where each colour/displacement is put.
See the attachment for the shader tree...
Warner Brothers: I'm making no money from this image. Afore ye' come at me with a payment book and a cleaver! ;)
Added some rocks on the yellow sand and along the edge of the road to break it up a bit.
Roadrunner is also slightly higher up, he was too low to the ground, maybe he still is. His colour's a bit brighter, too.
I also moved the little cactus back and scaled it up to keep its overall size. As Inky suggested, it was too much in the shadow of the large one.
Anyhow, done.
A fun little project. I might do more Toonagen renders... :)

nice idea! Roadrunner was great, still laughing when I see it on TV.
i hate to say it but..... I'm rooting for Wylie E Coyote. :D
sorry i missed this update too...nice one!! meepmeep!!
I really like this one ;D
I like this, I will have to explore the cartoon look but not right now as I zillions of other things wanting my attention. :)
This thread makes me smile :)
