Is it a 2d cloud layer? And if so, is acceleration cache set to 'none - highest quality'?

It's part of an animation that goes thru a "cloud sea" to go from above that cloud sea to below..., in that particular frame I encountered the error. It's extrange since it goes away if I deactivate raytrace shadows (but I need them since there is another cloud layer above these ones and they must cast shadows on it.

They are 3D and I've tried to rise the quality settings and the acceleration method with no success.

There has been some posts about objects being clipped by the camera. What happens is the camera does not render a portion of the object/s. I think it's because the object breaks into the camera's 'lens plane'. (for lack of better term)
This effect may be occuring with your clouds. Try this if the clouds are exactly how you have to have them. Write down all the settings in each tab (saving a clip file may work also). Delete the offending cloud layer. Save the tgd. Then add a new cloud layer and input the settings you wrote down. This time make the cloud layer 3D in the first place.

It's the best I can think of. Matt is working on the problem with objects now.

Thank you for the information..., I've rebuild the cloud system and now it works as I espected..., but now I'm afraid of find this error when I render the entire animation, since I can not be sure of that now and I'm wondering if I will be fired because of an error which will be too late to fix (if it can be fixed) or if I'll be able to fix it (I'm new to this program although I have vast experience with other 3D packages.
