Title: Snow on Trees
Post by: jcinbama on July 13, 2009, 11:34:57 PM
I've been trying to make a tree with snow on the leaves, this is what i've come up with so far.
The first is a reg cedar
the second is a complete snow cover cedar
the third is both merge in poseray.

These look pretty good. If your method is distinct from Oyshyan's, you might append your methods with his thread.
It would be handy if the various tips could be sorted and posted by subject. Almost a documentation, but user driven. Maybe something in the wiki, which I overlook...

It really is Oshyan's method just codified - he mentioned how he had done this is a brief statement, I simply fleshed it out and asked him if it was correct - no credit to me,except for me it was the first time, I started to get a glimmer of the internal workings of tg2

It's a free model I downloaded some time ago.
I'll see if I can find out where it's from.
