Pixel filter B-Spline (Soft)
... Something is going wrong...
Well, the background does look almost out of focus, but I think that's what you'd expect from the Cubic B-Spline. Otherwise it looks an intriguing image to me - I like the way the clouds are positioned. What is it that you want to fix??

what do you mean by
intriguing...? -
- what I want to fix ? the whole image miss the reality and we can feel no life in it ...
something that I can't explain...
Beautiful terrain !
Intriguing = interesting - interessant, non? I think you are being a little harsh saying that it has no life, but perhaps it would help if it weren't so blurry, so maybe all it needs is rendering with a sharper pixel filter.
OK I'll try an other render ...
it will success otherwise I'll trough every thing over the board >:(
:) :) :)
render sharper, and bigger...this looks like it has some possibilities!
sharper Pixel filter "Box" ?
bigger ...at what size ...1680x1050 it's OK ?
Box, or Narrow Cubic, or if you want real sharpness, Catmull.
I agree, bigg might allow for more details to come out. And don't throw this image away, it has real potential, especially the snow!
I'll give it a try this night
Here's a new render
That's much better. I am curious about the arc cutoff of the clouds, I have seen this in nature. I was wondering if this was on purpose and would a more jagged edge look better.
I thinks he's using a distance shader to mask out the clouds above the camera, if that's the case use a larger value between far and near colors if you're using 5000 for far use 2500 for near, to give the gradient more space. I like the foreground looks quite realistic like sandstone ;D
yes it was a distance shader...
...and the values where 10000 and 5000 i think that's what you mention...
Yes that's it, try to bring the values closer to the camera so you don't get that line.
I prefer the lighting in the original.
