Title: Deana's Utopia
Post by: Henry Blewer on July 25, 2009, 03:08:17 PM
I was messing around with density settings in the water shader. I used a power fractal in each input.

Yea, there is a Black spot problem I am working on. (exploding stone) I may do something more fun with the sky also.

Construction started from an good idea. It seems that the realization is less easy!
Do the trees seem too large compared to the mountains behind unless it is not desired?
An image to be worked again which will be promising!

I have it ready to render with new exciting clouds. Last night I played with Incendia, a 3D fractal program. I may change the clouds to something like the sunrise I saw this morning.
Trees are too big? I wish two, the smallest and the largest would render in wireframe. Bbox is okay for checking population, but it does not translate to well for scale.

I have finished this one. Took a long time to render, but I think this turned out well.

I added the Terrain file. Have fun with it. There are many here who could really make this one better.

too bad that we don't see the water's colour anymore... it was a very good tweaking to me ^^

Yea, the ambient occlusion and the brown subsurface of the water killed that. I was going for muddy.
The reflections with the wind patch effect came out nice.

I love the clouds in the second render.

The second render is turning out to be popular on Flickr.
