Right-click on the Heightfield Generate node in the Node Network view and choose Save File As. Give it a name and put .ter on the end. That should do it.

is it because i used a power fractal and not generate the terrain ?

Yeah, that would definitely explain it. If you connect your Power Fractal to the Shader input of the Heightfield Generate, then set the heightfield size to the area of coverage you want for the heightfield and press Generate, you can then save a heightfield version of your Power Fractal terrain.

It wouldn't change your terrain, it's just taking your terrain as input and creating a heightfield out of it. The only limitation is if you have overhangs in your terrain, which can't be stored in heightfield format anyway so would not be importable to Campath.

Campath was written for Terragen "Classic" (0.9), not TG2. TG2 doesn't support Campath script files. If you look around the forums there is quite a lot of info on animating with TG2, including some bits about converting paths and creating motion data in other apps. TG2 natively loads Nuke CHAN data. Provided you have the Deep + Animation version of TG2 that is.

is it possible for u to send me a link to a program capable of animating in tg2 or a link to a thread in the forums?

Animation functions are built-in to TG2. There are no real stand-alone utilities for creation of motion data, although there are converters and utilities that can play a useful role. The threads should help:

And remember that you need the Deep + Animation registered version to enable animation functions.

thank you so much for all your help but i have one last question what if i want animate an entire planet ? other than that you have helped me so much.

What aspect of the entire planet do you want to animate? Position? Terrain features? Size? You can animate most anything, including "an entire planet", depending on what elements you want to animate.

That sounds more like camera animation, with camera animating around the plant. That is easily possible using the same methods described in the threads above.
