Title: Unable To Open
Post by: normhol on August 04, 2009, 03:29:14 PM
I have been getting a lot of this lately. Not all, only some. I have Windows 2000 and I.E.7. I can't get I.E.8 because XP is the lowest one that supports it. Any ideas?
Norm.

I'd recommend firefox over IE definitely.

Also, is your internet connection decent? Or is their the possibility that it could cut out randomly and looses connection to the server your downloading from.

Pfff. Firefox ::) :D Clear your temporary internet files and the problem should be sorted, if it's not then try resetting the advanced settings and internet explorer settings in the advanced tab of internet options.

i do web development... i hate opera... it renders nice - sometimes.  it takes too many shortcuts to become so optimized, and sucks at ajax pages.  it may be better (slightly) then ie, but its still pretty annoying to me.

I am a Mozilla Firefox nut. Once it even worked on Microsoft sites for downloading updates! I thought, "This is healthy of Microsoft." The next day, it was IE or nothing. I was saddened, I like Microsoft for many things. But they drive me nuts with the hidden features, processes, and paranoia.

Thankyou all for answering. @Dune and mr_miley, I downloaded Opera and it works like a charm.
