New sand surface. Walli and Mr_L's grass clumps.

Really good texture you've got there.

Very nice work here :) Crisp and clear. I like the background mountains and surfacing quite much, world-machine + masks or TG2 (+ intersect underlying)?
The grasses on the hill in the background are a bit too saturated. Oh yeah, the sand looks great :)

Very real. You have a excellent shader group for sands now.

Cheers, guys. I'll be sharing all the recent shaders I'm posting in vol.4 of my library, which is what I've been working on recently. These renders are just simple scenes built to show the use of each effect. I'm offline at the moment, back next Tuesday, if all goes to plan, so, hopefully I'll be nearing completion of the pack...

Fantastic scene. I agree with TU about the hill grasses, and may I add another suggestion; group the birds (swans/spoonbills) into a flock or line, not so dispersed. Are they a model, by the way?

Yes, Dune, the birds are the Carrara seagull, it's an object. I use it often. There are actually 2 flocks here, I maybe should have left it at just one, they looked more together.

Martin: The terrain is a .ter I found around here somewhere, I think it's linked in the file sharing area, can't remember what it's called, I'm not at my own PC. I'm sure it starts with an 'S', if that's any help.
It's just that terrain, my default rock setup and finally my planetary grass shader. That's it.

I cleaned my monitor yesterday. I thought the birds were smudges! Please make more tiny birds so I clean more often! :o :D

Cheers again, folks. :)

*** The terrain file(I checked earlier when I was home) is called 'sarla 1.ter' I think someone shared it here.
