Oh, this looks interesting! You could give it a Taj Mahal-Style by putting the temple on the far back and a little "river" between the trees ;)

When you say GI is off, did you mean GI surface details? Global Illumination is always rendered if you have an enabled Enviro Light set to Global Illumination and the GI relative detail is not 0.

GI surface details calculates extra detail in whatever GI is already calculated.

sorry, I meaning GI surface Details off, when I use it I usually mention the GI relative detail / GI sample quality values I use.

(a thunderstorm knocked out the power at my house today and i dont know if the render was finished or not & i cant find the TG2 temporary folder with the back-up images, i know I've gotten to it before but i can't seem to find it now) :-\

honestly, I had nothing to do with the thunderstorm!  :D

 Go To File (Menu) > Explore Temporary Files. You should find what your looking for unless some thing happened when you power got knocked out.  ;D

Considering it's been struck by lightning, I would say it's awesome. The only thing I would add is more contrast to the moon's coloring. Good work.

Very lovely scenery. I like the lighting and that mystifing mood.
