Title: Perseid meteor shower

Perseid meteor shower (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/8193769.stm)
Its overcast  in the UK (well this bit) now but there's still tomorrow night :)

even in Paris, and its damn light pollution, i've been able to see 2 meteors in 20 minutes !

no such luck in belfast...way too much light pollution, and too many clouds! :(

I haven't even tried here in Rotterdam. You can almost read a book here outside in the "dark".

It's been solid clouds here in Binghamton NY. I was thinking of taking a walk out to the observatory (Kepernik) in Vestal, but the clouds... Maybe next year.
We have the light pollution here also. Gives people a false sense of security. Since I am in the security field, I see too much light as hiding places in the shadows. That is my complaint for the day. Thank you for reading. ::)
