Playing around with sine functions.
And for a laugh, this was the graph. I didn't get around to renaming the nodes.
A while back I tried to build an entire planet out of sines but the nodes crept up to about 500. My machine couldn't handle it. Many of these nodes are to hack colour gradients together. I'll get around to posting about sines. I don't think I actually posted any files connected with this, just graph shots.
Back in the early 80's there was an IBM group working on LCD display tech. This looks like one of the images they used/made. If I remember correctly, the display could use 16 colors and it resolution was 160 x 100 pixels. It was pretty cool stuff back then.
Do you have a number of how amny functions you used? I looked at the screen grab, but it was all blurred together.
I haven't got the file loaded at present. Another render is going but I think there could be a few hundred nodes. Many of them are doing similar things. If we had a colour gradient I could have used way less. To build a whole planet with these sines I would have to make internal networks.
Terragen made that :o It's sooooo trippy!
Hi
Cool Art (both Image and Nodes ;) ).
ciao
Naoo
Looks like we are on the same kind of music :-)
woah! :) 8) :o
man, I think I'm seeing things in this.....
*also, me thinks the node pic is almost a piece of art in a way
