Title: Feature Tutorial in Advanced Photoshop
Post by: schmeerlap on August 16, 2009, 04:44:33 AM
You may want to check out the Step-by-step Workshop "Creating Worlds" in issue 60 of Advanced Photoshop. Christian Hecker uses Classic Terragen as the base for his Photoshopped scene. It does concentrate on the Photoshop postwork. Nonetheless it is quite inspirational and demonstrates how useful the old Terragen can be as a foundation for a polished final matte-type landscape scene.

Yeh, checked his site out. Seems he was backtracking to Terragen to do that tut, as he now uses Vue (since mid-2006) for the 3d element in his artwork. He posts his work at CGS where I have him on my fav list.

It was because of reading that tutorial did I become aware of Terragen. I've already downloaded Terragen Classic and started fiddling around with it.
