Had some fun with snow again :)
Cheers,

Very realistic
Hi
Yeah, the snow ist realy cool!
ciao
Naoo
Absolute fantastic photorealism!
I like the bump added for ice crystals. Looks great.
It looks kind of frozen over snow, very nice!
Thanks guys :)
It's not realistic enough (eh Frank? ;)) so I'm working on some additional details.
More to follow soon!
good shot :)
the grass is very realistic to me too and the blur adds a lot to this render.
good job Martin !
Looks great! I'm glad that you keep working on this to make it better, even though it looked fantastic before.
Terrific render! I like this macro-look! Very nice done! :D
I am totally speechless. :o
Beautiful and very realistic. I'd wish for a slightly reduced reflection glare, but that's probably a question of what kind of snow you had in mind.
Thanks everybody :) A first update is on its way :)

Yes, you're right about that. I use reflectivity with very low specular roughness which causes the glare. If I increase the roughness I lose the bright spots.
This is something I can't solve when using reflectivity, but I just found a "cheat" :)
V2: Frank suggested to make some subtle details on the snow surface to make it more realistic, here's the first result.
The bright sparkles are a bit lost, but I'm working on a new one already....so, more to come within a couple of hours :)

Martin
Beautiful.... can't wait for the next one.
Cheers, Simon.
I guess I'm finished with it for the moment. Probably can make some more optimizations, but I'm a bit fed up with it, so here's the final for now!
Thanks for stopping by, cheers,
Martin
....without grasses and stuff
niiice :)
damn good grass too !!!
cool... you can really see the grain in the second one without grass. Great work.
I love the subtle specularity in the second one.
Incredibly realistic!
really n-ice!
amazing work!
Thanks a bunch guys :)
I will render some other POV's perhaps and also other environments.
I changed some stuff to the lighting and specularity, so I'm not sure yet how this shader will hold up in "large" scenes with huge patches of snow (it could become too bright for example).
If everything looks fine and works the same as my older shader I'm probably going to update the pack and distribute it among the purchasers.
