He was interviewed on Nova. The fractal show. They showed a clip. In 1983, I had a game on my Commodore 64 called 'Rescue On Fractalis'. The game was simple, go rescue downed pilots and mountain climbers. But the wire frame mountains were fractal real time motion. I liked just to fly around, it was so much better than Flight Sim.

Ah, I remember that game, but it was in 1985. It was pretty cool back then, though it didn't provide long term motivation to play. Got too boring after a while. Unlike Paradroid, for example - if I remember the name of the title right, or Space Taxi. Or "The Bard's Tale" a little later, alhtough that was much prettier on the Amiga. Damn, shows how old I have become.
Here's a full list of C64 games: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Commodore_64_games:_A-M
