Title: Painted gorourd look.
Post by: Henry Blewer on September 12, 2009, 03:34:30 PM
I wanted to see what over smoothing would do. Give the image a gorourd (spelling?) shading look.

I really like the composition and the sky on this one - and the over-smoothed mountain looks quite convincing.

Thanks. It took 16 hours to render. Mainly because I get lazy with objects. There are 1.6 million trees calculated in this one. It took a long time to draw them, plus the water...

I have made an object in Blender for FrankB's Farm land project. It's a tower wind generator. I did not go into much detail with it. I'm doing a render now. I'll post the obj and Blender files in the file sharing section. (They are small files) I'll post the preview render with a link to the objects here.

I really like those clouds ... and the terrain looks good, too.

I liked them also. Clouds are something I've almost become very good with.
