Stunning!  :o

Seth,  i had a problem there with these stones  ... http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=7528.msg80238#msg80238
Your surface color is the same on all pictures . i would lıke to know if there  where different surfaces what would you do? İs there a easy way to prevent it ?
Volker gave me a nice answer . What is your way?  NWDA ? :D

These are lovely stones...

Kadri.

Your love of fake stones really shows in how skillful you are with them.

i use a PF for every different fake stones. So if i have 4 nodes of 4 different fake stones, i use 4 different PF.
the colours in these renders are the same but it doesn't come from the Fake stones but frome the last surface layer i used.
i am not sure to understand your question about surfaces... now if i use several surface shaders for different part of the landscape (flat ones, vertical ones, etc) i can decrease the coverage of the different surface layers so they can melt...
sorry... maybe you could ask differently your question... i can give you hints about fake stones...

Seth i will not highjack such a nice topic . İ will ask the same question in the  Terragen 2 Discussion area later a little more detailed.
Maybe not, if i find other solutions in the documents or forum.

Thanks.

The sphere is one of the coolest objects. The stones are looking very good. They would be nice to use breaking up the sand on a beach.

Okay.  Salivating.  I'm constantly encouraged when I see how well you handle lighting in TG2, Franck.  Ni-i-i-i-ce.

Extremely nice, Seth, especially the last one. I wondered about the glow, but it was answered. I used to let the blacks glow in 'real old-fashioned darkroom B&W photography' with a black stocking under the lens. I really like that effect.

I am happy to know that you think my work worth 2 dollars.
I don't like to pay for download, but I must say that I paid for TG2 full version + animation, and for some other stuff too. Maybe you only own the free version and will never buy TG2, and maybe you illegally download every software you use  (I don't know and I don't care).
Do you really think I am "playing" TG2 at least 4 hours a day just for some not polite new guy keeping asking free stuff from everyone on several thread, acting like we owe him anything. Not even writing some "please"... even my young kids are more polite than you are !
I don't know you, but your attitude just sucks big time.
So just to be clear : I will never give you anything, not even advice considering your childish and unpleasant attitude in here.
I hope you won't highjack too many thread and I'll try not to respond to any of your comment.

I don't think you are playing TG2. I think great scenes should be free! So could you "please" put the TGD up here for all to download and enjoy for free? They might decide they like your work and buy some of your other stuff. If you put it up here, I'll give you credit in all renders I do with your scene.
