Having a kind off creative block I managed to get this little work in an hour or two.
Very simple ugly billowy terrain, 2 fractals for surface + 6 fake stones.
Added 15 populations:
4x Walli's grasses
2x Walli's pines from the free pack
7x Walli's dirt
2x Walli's dry bushes
Clouds are from Frank's Sky Starters Pack....flavour is Windy Clouds.
Rendered in 16 hours, detail 1 AA 8 and GI 2/4.
Postwork: open "250909.bmp" -> save for web ;D
Enjoy!
Martin
Very nice! I love all the detail and variation that that may plant models provides.
Walli's dirt pack looks to be awesome, like the other packs he has made. The render looks great.
Reaaally nice...
(The picture and the title remind me of the song of the same name, by Omnia, a Pagan Folk band... You can listen to it here (http://www.worldofomnia.com/mp3/A!_alive.mp3) :))
Beautiful use of walli's models, I know a couple of places like that :)

ps: Omnia=:) /|\
beautiful.
i like the trees in the background
if the hill was'nt so steep it would look a lot like my backwoods.
hopefully that's the crack in your creative block ;)
Nice one Martin, well done. I think it can still be improved in post, though. Especially light dynamics.
Cheers,
Frank
lovely ground. i like the colours too
@Rhalph Nice tunes there! I'm supposed to be at a pipe festival today, but I am not feeling up to it, so this makes for a nice substitute! Thanks. - Bill .
15 populations! I'm lucky if I can get four without a hitch ...your creative juices are flowing Martin - keep on. This is very good.
Great picture. This is the kind of look I've been trying to create for a while without success. With the details you've posted, maybe now I can. I've usually tried about half that number of populations.

I am still working on a couple! Looks like my neighborhood here in New England.
