VERY COOL 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
looks like it could be very helpful...
makes me wish i had 3d studio max at home, rather than just at my job.
i wish there was something like this (that's free) available for lightwave 3d.
That's massively cool. In case anyone doesn't know, mse's go in ...Autodesk/3ds Max/scripts
You can create a folder for it but you don't have to. If you just want to give it a go put it in scripts/startup so it launches as soon as 3ds Max does and you don't have to go looking for it.
It's a great script. I created this in 4 seconds, so no textures. There are a couple of issues still like oddly positioned balconies but for a free procedural plugin I can most certainly live with it. You also get a link to download a buttload of textures too. I'd put this in my top 5 plugins for any program.
Oh and you can always edit bits out as normal. ;D ;D
yay! :)
i just installed the 3d studio Max 2010 trial, and now I'm playing with the building generator.
Any idea how to get rid of the balconies? Disabling the checkbox ain't working.
hmmm.. I'm not sure, disabling the checkbox is working for me.
This looks really cool!
How amazing...
It would be cool to have a version of this for Anim8or. That's pretty much the only modeler I have. And it's freeware! ;D
Found this on SetupTab.com for Blender - http://www.blendernation.com/suicidator-city-engine-0-4-released/
Thanks for posting the SCE. The YouTube anim made it look quite4 interesting.
