sweet rays...i also like the colors :)
but i think you should cut away the lower third of the image...it looks way better when you just have the sky, the sun and the trees without the clearing in the foreground...the upper clouds look a bit flat too, but that might be a question of taste...
finally try to reduce the grain in the atmosphere...although i can understand if you don't want to do this...the rendertime is horrible with rays :-\

I'd second the suggestion re the foreground - it's far too dominant in a composition that is ostensibly about the background.

Heh, you think 128 samples would be plenty for the atmosphere but you can clearly see it's not.

As it turns out, atmospheric settings were left on 12 (I have no idea why).
It's rerendering.

It's fixed.  Check the OP.

The huge amount of foreground is there for a reason.  This is not meant to be only a landscape render.
