This is another piece I have finished off^^
Been getting through last months work lol!
A 7 hour render was disapointed at first as the colours where very dull but photomatix with the exr brought out its true colours ;D

Floored. That's the only description I can use. The variation of terrain types in the other celestial bodies is great.
How'd you get that texture on that gas giant like that? I tried, but it looked exactly like Through camera, even though I used Spherical Projection!
Lovely image there, all sorts of good stuff going on:) I love the "alien" sky, looks very believable. I'm not so sure about the tilted angle, don't think it needs it:) Also the birds, I think they're slightly distracting. Just my opinion though ;)

For spherical projection to work make sure you move the center of the image map shader to the center of the planet (which is NOT 0,0,0).

I always try and add a little tilt to my pieces makes you feel like your actual their trying to take a picture of this vista with out the unatural and boring conditions to take flat images ;D
Beautiful lighting on this one, it gives the image a really nice feeling of reality despite the sci-fi use of planets and alien sky. Lovely atmosphere.
Very nice. I particularly like the warm colours on the cliffs. Spherical projection on offworld planets; I'll need to play with that.

Great mesa and vegetation - I also could do without the tilt. maybe because it's beside the sea, but I feel like I might get seasick ;)

no ones said any thing about it, but i really like the ripply reflections on the water & the tree covered peninsula.

I need a tutorial. My gas giants look like crap! All you see is a pink sphere!
lovely water reflection man !
Cool. I'm impressed with the sharpness, light and detail of the craggy mountains. Poster, please. ;D
