Title: Art Wolf's Travels Landscapes and people
Post by: Henry Blewer on October 24, 2009, 08:50:57 PM
I was watching the Create channel, a PBS offering here in the USA. I have watched a few of Art Wolf's episodes and have been inspired by the places he has visited. (Not that I have done anything with this inspiration :-[) So I went to his site tonight. It's very good, lots of different types of images. The landscape photography he has done is very good. So here's the link. It's a commercail site, so I don't know if it's appropriate. But the forum admin. can remove the post if it is.

Hope you enjoy this as much as I have.

I have one of Art Wolfe's books: The Living Wild. Superb photographs indeed.
Unlike most nature photographers, he often gets very close to his subjects and uses a wide angle lens. This enables us to see the animal's environment.
The cover of the book is a good example of this.
